Warner Robins Animal Shelter

The new Warner Robins Animal Shelter will be constructed to better serve the animals of Houston County and the families in the community looking for pets to adopt through the shelter. This animal shelter will be more adoption-centered, more accessible to the public, and better focused on animal safety throughout the county. It will be used by both Warner Robins and Centerville, as well as the unincorporated parts of Houston County.

The City of Warner Robins will oversee this project and manage construction.

We expect the Animal Shelter project to have all committed SPLOST funds available by Q1 of 2027.
