Parks & Recreation Projects in Houston County

The Parks & Recreation projects provide funding to each of the three cities in Houston County—Warner Robins, Centerville, and Perry—to be used as each sees fit for significant capital investments in parks and recreation infrastructure.

Funds are made available to each city throughout the 2024 SPLOST program, which ends in Q3 of 2030. SPLOST funds are managed by each city, and portions of the budget are distributed to the cities monthly. Total budget allotments per city are as follows:

  • Warner Robins: $2,800,000
  • Centerville: $1,400,000
  • Perry: $1,400,000

The end date for providing funds for the Parks & Recreation projects is September 30, 2030.
